Hello everyone. My name is Rekha Nair. This will be my third year teaching as well as my third year at Travis. I am very excited about the new school year. I am originally from India and I have lived in Dallas for about nine years with my husband and son. I have a BA in Economics and Interdisciplinary Studies, and a Masters in Science Education. My future plans include pursuing doctoral studies in Math and Science education. I define myself as a lifelong learner and I hope to instill that value in every one of my students. I don’t have a lot spare time, but when I do, I like to ride my bike or walk around White Rock Lake, listen to music, read, watch movies, and travel. I am a big online news buff and I love to discuss politics and current affairs. I look forward to spending the rest of the year getting to know all of you.
